I believe we all have exquisite intuition that, when tapped into, directs each person to the foods and lifestyle choices that are best for them.  Yet, it’s not always straightforward to decipher the best options for ourselves, in a world flooded with contradictory views on nutrition and health.  As T. S. Eliot once said, “where is all the knowledge we have lost in information?” 

This is where I step in.  As your integrative nutrition health coach, we take a deep dive into the many layered components of health and well-being.  We explore the connections between what nourishes you “on the plate,” and what nourishes you at a deeper level, “off of the plate.” Appreciating a truly integrative approach, we delve into relationships, career, physical activity, and spirituality.  We look into sleep and stress management, and ways to optimize both.  Do you yearn for creative outlets or more joy in your life?   Do you experience nagging cravings, or find it difficult to maintain healthy habits?  Do you feel unsatisfied or that there should be “more” to life?  As your “guide on the side,” we partner together and explore these ideas.  I do not prescribe strict diets, modes of living, or supplements.  Rather, we find what makes your body hum with balance and vibrancy.  Meeting every two weeks over the course of 3 to 6 months–customized to each client’s needs–we create the building blocks of change for your desired life.  It’s not about making huge changes all at once, but rather integrating small changes, over time, for sustained wellness and vitality.

 

In our hour-long sessions, we will talk and explore, and you’ll leave each session with a few doable recommendations that resonate with you, and feel accomplishable.  In between our sessions, I am available for tweaking and encouragement.  We will also get in the kitchen together for hands-on experience, tailored to your palate and lifestyle.
